š Ā I was a professional ballet dancer and teacher, then Massage Therapist and Trager Practitioner before embarking on my water journey in 1990. With the collaboration of other teachers and practitioners I have had the privilege to preside over the creation and development of Healing Dance.
šĀ Water was not my original element of choice; earth and air were more defining of my Virgo nature. However, over the years, living in San Diego, the welcoming waves at Ocean Beach became my refuge, where I could heal and rejuvenate. The years of residency at Harbin Hot Springs confirmed that aquatic bodywork was to be the center of my life.
š Ā I live in a small village in southern Germany near TĆ¼bingen with my wife, Kathrin. I give sessions at the Palais Thermal in Bad Wildbad in the Black Forest and in a private pool in TĆ¼bingen. I am on the road about fifteen weeks a year teaching Healing Dance primarily in Germany, France, Italy and the US.
šÆĀ When not teaching or working on manuals and videos (and emails!) I enjoy practicing the Total Immersion swimming method and disappearing for the day on my sleek road bike through the patchwork of villages, meadows, farmlands and forest that is southern Germany. My list of favorite things would be incomplete without mentioning hiking through the woods and strolling through picturesque TĆ¼bingen together with Kathrin.
š¬ Ā Sharing Healing Dance as an institute leader, teacher and practitioner fulfills me. Together with the teacher team we are building a structure and path to benefit this and future generations, a path worthy of our dedication on account of the marvelous transformations it makes possible for receivers.
